Composition

Rupanil 10 Tablet is primarily indicated for the treatment of allergic conditions. It is commonly used to relieve the following symptoms associated with allergies: <ol><li>Sneezing</li><li>Runny or itchy nose</li><li>Itchy or watery eyes</li><li>Itchy throat or palate</li><li>Hives (urticaria)</li><li>Skin itching and rash</li></ol> Rupatadine, the active ingredient in Rupanil, works by blocking the action of histamine, a chemical released in the body during allergic reactions. This helps to alleviate the allergic symptoms mentioned above.

Indication

The recommended dosage of Rupanil 10 Tablet may vary depending on the age, weight, and specific medical condition of the patient. Typically, the dosage for adults and children above 12 years of age is as follows: <ul><li>Take one tablet (10 mg) orally once daily, preferably in the evening, with or without food.</li><li>Do not exceed the recommended dosage unless instructed by a healthcare professional.</li></ul> For children under 12 years of age, the dosage should be determined by a healthcare provider based on their weight and age. Anti-Allergic

Sartec® Tablet: Each film-coated tablet contains Cetirizine Dihydrochloride BP 10 mg. Sartec® Syrup: Each 5m1 syrup contains Cetirizine Dihydrochloride BP 5 mg.

Sartec® is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis due to allergens such as ragweed, grass and tree pollens in adults &amp; children of 2 years and older. Symptoms treated effectively include sneezing, rhinorrhea, prurites, ocular prurites, tearing and redness of the eye. Perennial Allergic Rhinitis: Sartec® is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with perennial allergic rhinitis due to allergens such as dust mites, animal dander, and molds in adults &amp; children 6 month and older. Symptoms treated effectively include sneezing, rhinorrhea, post-nasal discharge, nasal pruritus, ocular pruritus and tearing. Chronic Urticaria: Sartec® is indicated for the treatment of the uncomplicated skin manifestation of chronic idiopathic urticaria in adults &amp; children 6 month of age and older. It significantly reduces the occurrence, severity and duration of hives and significantly reduces pruritus. It is also used in allergen-induced asthma.

Sartec® is administered with or without food. The time of administration varies to suit individual patients needs. Adults and Children 6 years and older: Sartec Tablet: 1 tablet daily. Sartec® Syrup: 10 ml syrup once daily or 5 ml syrup twice daily. In patients with decreased renal function (Creatinine clearance 11-31 ml/min), patients on haemodialysis (Creatinine clearance less than 7 ml/min) and in hepatically impaired patients, a dose of 5 ml syrup once daily is recommended. Children 2 to 6 years: 2.5 ml syrup once a day, can be increased to a maximum dose of 5 ml syrup once a day or 2.5 ml syrup twice a day. Children 6 months to less than 2 years: 2.5 ml syrup once daily or twice daily. Dosage in renal and hepatic impairment: Dosing adjustment is necessary in patients with moderate or severe renal impairment, hepatic impairment and patients on dialysis.

Sesofen (Ketotifen) is used to treat or manage the following conditions: <ol><li>Allergic Rhinitis: It is effective in alleviating symptoms of allergic rhinitis, including sneezing, runny or itchy nose, and itchy or watery eyes, which are commonly associated with seasonal or perennial allergies.</li><li>Allergic Conjunctivitis: Sesofen eye drops are used to relieve symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis, such as redness, itching, and tearing of the eyes due to allergens like pollen, dust, or pet dander.</li><li>Asthma Management: In some cases, Ketotifen may be used as an adjunct therapy to manage mild asthma symptoms or to reduce the frequency and severity of asthma attacks in certain individuals.</li></ol>

The dosage of Sesofen (Ketotifen) can vary depending on the age of the patient, the specific formulation (tablets, syrup, or eye drops), and the severity of the condition. Your healthcare provider will determine the appropriate dosage and usage instructions.</li><li>It's important to note that Ketotifen may take several days to weeks to reach its full effect in relieving allergy symptoms.
